Mission Statement
To serve as the welcoming face of Christ at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish; fostering a vibrant, inclusive community where every parishioner and visitor feels at home, safe, and ready to encounter the Lord in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
Core Pillars for OLA Ushers
1. The OLA Welcome
Setting a warm, family-friendly tone at the main entrance, reflecting Tri-Cities hospitality.
2. Liturgical Order
Coordinating the Offertory procession (gift bearers), managing communion traffic flow, and distributing weekly bulletins efficiently.
3. Safety & Accessibility
Assisting elderly parishioners or families with young children, ensuring clear walkways, and being prepared for emergency procedures.
