Overview

The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned lay faithful who provide humble assistance to the clergy in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ. Appointed by the Parish Priest under the authority of the Bishop, they perform a sacred service that supports the prayerful flow of the Liturgy and extends the sanctuary's reach to those unable to attend.

Our mission: To support the clergy in sharing the Bread of Life with the faithful, fostering a deep reverence for the Real Presence of Christ both at the altar and in the homes of the infirm (CCC 1407).

We serve: The Clergy / The Parish Assembly / The Sick and Homebound
